"The War You Don't See" 2010 film by award winning journalist John Pilger. Please buy Pilger's DVD at special reduced price to support his work. The new film is a powerful and timely investigation into the media's role in war, tracing the history of 'embedded' and independent reporting from the carnage of World War One to the destruction of Hiroshima, and from the invasion of Vietnam to the current war in Afghanistan and disaster in Iraq. Pilger's documentary films are always about the real stories that the global mainstream media groups do not tell tax payers and voters.

As weapons and propaganda become even more sophisticated, the nature of war is developing into an 'electronic battlefield' in which journalists play a key role, and civilians are the victims. But who is the real enemy? This is a remarkable documentary in which the winner of journalism's top awards for both press and broadcasting, including academy awards in the UK and US television, John Pilger, himself a renowned war reporter, questions the role the media in war. "The War You Don't See" asks whether mainstream news has become an integral part of war-making.

Focusing on the current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq, Pilger reflects on the history of the relationship between the media and government in times of conflict stretching back to World War I and explores the impact on the information fed to the public of the modern day practice of public relations in the guise of 'embedding' journalists with the military. Featuring interviews with senior figures at major UK broadcasters, the BBC and ITV, and high profile journalists on both sides of the Atlantic, including Rageh Omaar and Dan Rather, the film investigates the reporting of government claims that Iraq harboured weapons of mass destruction.

"The War You Don't See" contains shocking never-seen-before footage from Iraq and Afghanistan and revealing interviews with former BBC reporter Rageh Omaar, former CBS anchor Dan Rather and the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange.

"The War You Don't See" is due to be released on Sunday 12 December 2010. The film will be televised on ITV UK on Tuesday 14 December 2010. It will be available on DVD from Monday 13 December 2010. For tickets to see the film click here: ... You_Dont_S... ;

John Richard Pilger (born 9 October 1939} is an Australian journalist and documentary maker, based in London. He has twice won Britain's Journalist of the Year Award, and his documentaries have received academy awards in Britain and the US. Noam Chomsky said of Pilger: "John Pilger's work has been a beacon of light in often dark times. The realities he has brought to light have been a revelation, over and over again, and his courage and insight a constant inspiration."

Referring to "Breaking the Silence," Anthony Hayward said: "For more than a generation, John Pilger has been an ever stronger voice for those without a voice and a thorn in the side of authority, the Establishment. His work, particularly his television documentaries, has also made him rare in being a journalist who is universally known, a champion of those for whom he fights and the scourge of politicians and others whose actions he exposes Vietnam. "The Quiet Mutiny" in 1970 was the first of over 60 documentary films by Pilger. Filmed at Camp Snuffy, the film presented a character study of the common US soldier during the Vietnam War, revealing the shifting morale and open rebellion of Western troops. Pilger described the film as "something of a scoop" - it was the first documentary to show the open rebellion within the drafted ranks of the US military that led to the withdrawal of the land army in 1973. "When I flew to New York and showed it to Mike Wallace, the star reporter of CBS' 60 Minutes, he agreed. "Real shame we can't show it here"", Pilger said in an interview with the New Statesman.

Other films by John Pilger include: War On Democracy ; Breaking the Silence ; Paying the Price ; War By Other Means ; Also see 9/11 frauds and crimes by Adam Curtis of the BBC TV UK .

A lot of people got killed in this raid against "Bin Laden" and his family (2011), but please note that the helicopter with everyone involved in this black opp was killed in an explosion that brought down their helicopter...

Sounds more like a black opp with false flag written all over it, thats what I would say as a former royal marine.

I would like to point out that black opps doesn't have to be a bad thing, as long as they release the information after the fact so any criminal acts can be prosecuted publicly.

The real problem here as I see it is the false flag elements of operations like these, not just because you are killing your own people (like that isn't bad enough really), but you are doing it on purpose without their knowledge "for the greater good" or some "strategic move" made from the top of the military pyramid of power.

I mean: Who can refuse that - I mean: Really? Unless you want to be locked up for the rest of your life, get tortured and maybe even killed for treason at the end of it.

Naa, lets go kill some brown people, even our own people "if needed" - thats the Attitude:

Enjoy the movie !!!

IMPORTANT for people in here who haven't been at war them selfs:

Its a good idea to not be eating while watching this movie.

Bottom line:

A false flag is always the shadow governments way to create a cover story in order to cover up the truth !!!

IMPORTANT: The and backup link will expiire - use the main link from now on
