The way I removed Edge browser from windows 10
Download:

This is just how I removed Edge from windows 10, let me know if you got something better. I just got tired of it.
1) Right-click in the taskbar and open the joblist
2) under details, close msedge.exe
3) goto C:/Program files/Microsoft and delete the folders "Edge", "EdgeCore", "EdgeUpdate", "EdgeWebView", "Temp" and the file "settings".
4) run "Uninstalledge" and click both buttons
5) Unpack and place the new msedge.exe and folders in C:/Program files/Microsoft
6) Goto the folder and right click on msedge.exe, select property and check hidden and written protection
The .exe file is really just a .bat rutine:
@echo off
START firefox
exit
in order to make all windows pop-up windows use firefox instead of edge from now on.
