from personal experience...
asthma attack
- i took a half glass of water,
- put about a teaspoon of baking soda in it
- put about 1/4 glass fresh lemon juice
- mixed it up, just gulped it down
tasted whack,but almost instantly i felt my airways opening up!

That would not surprise me one bit because it will alkaline your body so things like cancer just cant exist in that environment, most use it just to prevent things like cancer.
